An embodied mix of photography, performance and collage
Our custom-made application mimics the classic “light painting” photographic process – while a live visualisation allows for precise control of the results, that was impossible before. The results of this novel media keep a flair of the “analog” feel of the silver film, but with much more control and latitude than traditional light painting. The creative process feels like a fluid mix of embodied performance, painting and collage.
Wireless light sources provide an atypical “light brush”. A small portable wireless button allows for more embodiment and ease of mobility while interacting with the installation.

The application not only creates a final photography, but also an animated video of the creation process, that is a favourite to share on social media.
